N. N. Mensah

Attorney and Counselor at Law

N. N. Mensah has been practicing immigration law since 2009. He has achieved the skill and mastery required for difficult and complex removal cases, acquiring permanent resident status, or bringing loved ones to the United States.

Mensah is an experienced trial attorney. As a former Deputy Criminal Prosecutor for Pierce County, Washington, Mensah successfully tried numerous criminal cases to juries and to the courts. He has the technical knowledge and skills necessary to represent defendants charged with driving under the influence of drug or alcohol (DUI), domestic violence assault, or other crimes against persons and property.

Moreover, Mensah has in-depth expertise in administrative law and hearings, having worked for Washington State as an Administrative Law Judge and Administrative Hearings Program Manager.

He has the technical and practical acumen to advocate on behalf of those trying to navigate the complex US immigration system—a daunting endeavor he undertook himself as an exchange student in 1980. He has the passion and ability to assist those interested in uniting with their families, obtaining employment authorization, becoming lawful permanent residents, acquiring US citizenship, seeking asylum status or other forms of relief from deportation, as well as receiving non-immigrant visas, such as student, visitor or tourist, and business visas.

Mensah has the skill to do comprehensive, specialized case research and analysis, as he has done both in his own private practice and for law firms in the Seattle-Tacoma metropolitan area.

He is a member of the Washington State Bar Association (WSBA), American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA), and former member of the Washington State Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers (WACDL). He is a graduate of Seattle University School of Law, and holds a master’s degree in Public Administration and bachelor’s degrees in Economics and Political Science.

Mensah loves to work with people to overcome challenges and to achieve their dreams. He loves no sport more than he does soccer, the national past time of his birth country, Ghana.

Before you get started, you should know that though this service is being provided by Life Point Law, an estate planning firm, by using the free service you will not be creating an attorney-client relationship, and no attorney will review your work. Estate planning can be complicated and generally requires some degree of legal analysis to ensure you have the right provisions. Especially if you have been married more than once, you have a blended family, or you have considerable wealth. We encourage you to seek some guidance, or at the very least, have a legal professional review your work before you call it completed.
